Marcia Tillotson, Managing Director-Investments and Financial Advisor, is originally from Louisburg, NC and a 1979 business school graduate of Appalachian State University.
She joined the financial services industry in 1987 with The Robinson-Humphrey Company, a subsidiary of Shearson Lehman Brothers / American Express. She joined Interstate Johnson Lane (IJL) in 1996, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors. She is a registered representative and holds principal, supervisory, insurance, commodity and professional portfolio management certifications. She is currently the branch manager for the uptown brokerage office for Wells Fargo Advisors in Charlotte.
Marcia serves on the endowment board of the YWCA Central Carolinas and The Board of Directors for the McColl Center in Charlotte. She is a member of the Federal Club Council for The Human Rights Campaign.
In 2012, Marcia was recognized with WFA's highest honor, the Spirit Award, for extraordinary contribution to the culture of the firm. Marcia and her wife, Sharon Blalock, reside in Myers Park in Charlotte.
Joy Kenefick, Managing Director-Investments and Financial Advisor, is originally from Miami, FL and a 1993 graduate of the University of Florida. Joy began her financial services career in 1997 with IJL, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors.
She is a registered representative, an investment planning specialist, is insurance licensed and holds professional portfolio management certifications. She has primary responsibility in investments and investment planning.
Joy has been married to her husband Christian since 1998 and they have twin daughters, Ana and Sara. In addition to Joy's passion and commitment for fiscal health and well being, she is equally passionate about physical health and well being as an avid yogi.
Joy serves as a trustee board member for Charlotte Latin School, the Greater Charlotte Cultural Trust and is a member of Women Executives.
Julia Truslow, Financial Consultant, joined Tillotson Kenefick Private Wealth Management of Wells Fargo Advisors in 2017 after spending time servicing retirement plans and individual retirement accounts with another financial services company. She holds Series 7, 66 registrations, Life and Health Insurance licenses, the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and RICP®. Her responsibilities include financial planning, building investment plans, strategizing with clients, retirement plan administration, asset transfers, and cash management.
A native Charlottean who graduated from Charlotte Catholic High School, Julia received a Bachelor in Communications from Appalachian State University. She enjoys morning workouts at the Y, practicing hot yoga and spending time with friends and family.
